New Mobile Passport Control (MPC) - Faster entry into USA for ESTA holders

MPC enables eligible travellers (ESTA holders) to submit their travel documents, photos, and customs declaration information through a free, secure app on their smartphone or other mobile device.

MPC streamlines the traveller’s entry process into the United States by reducing passport control inspection time and overall wait time.

Use of MPC does not require pre-approval. Travellers who successfully use the MPC app will no longer have to complete a paper form and may be provided with a designated queue.

As a result, travellers may experience shorter wait times, less congestion and efficient processing.

The MPC app is a free application that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play and is currently available for eligible travellers to use upon arrival at MPC approved ports

It only takes 1 application (via the app) which can include up to 12 passengers travelling together either by air or sea to an MPC-approved entry port - see See FAQ question #2 for full list of approved ports
